3 Day Bwindi Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari is surely one of the best safari packages for travelers with limited time but with the passion of exploring the best gorilla destination world (the home to half the world’s mountain gorilla) combined with the second deepest lake in Africa. It memories are kicked off with the gorilla adventure and there after sealed by the beautiful sceneries of Lake Bunyonyi.
Day By Day Tour Summary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Upon meeting up with a professional tour guide from monumental expeditions and tours, you will have a pre-tour briefing and then start your beautiful scenery-filled journey to the impenetrable forest of Bwindi, having your lunch en route style with several stopovers for photography.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to lake Bunyonyi
Starting the day with early morning breakfast, you will then head to the park headquarters for a briefing before the start of the gorilla trekking experience. Entering the jungle with several ranger guides, you will start penetrating the impenetrable forest looking for the mountain gorillas and once spotted, you are to spend a full hour with them, taking videos and pictures of your liking.
After a successful trek, you will head back to your lodge for refreshments and lunch and then head to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Canoeing and departure
On the last day, you are to enjoy your breakfast and then hit the second-deepest lake in Africa for the canoeing adventure. During the canoe ride, expect to learn more about the different islands on the lake and the several birds found in the area.
After the canoeing, you will check out your lodge and then hit the road back home, having your lunch en route.
