Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Hotel to Mburo National Park for a 3 days Uganda Safari

Upon meeting up with a professional tour guide from monumental expeditions you will drive to lake Mburo national park and begin with a game drive to see Impalas, Buffaloes, Elands, and other animals. Check into your accommodation for lunch before embarking on a boat trip adventure. In the afternoon, take a boat excursion with an experienced game ranger to witness various bird species such as the fish eagle, kingfisher, shoebill, and many more. See hippos in the wetlands, crocodiles cooling themselves in the water, and maybe antelope nesting in the papyrus.

The lake offers a diversified scenery that is full of intrigue, color, and refreshment, as well as encounters with various animals on sight. Following the boat excursion, you will be led on foot around the park, where you will discover a stunning landscape full of color and vitality. Visit the surrounding Rubanga forest, a tiny forest near the park, to view different bird species and to learn more about different plant species from the guide. After seeing nature, return to the lodge or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation (Eagles Nest Lodge, Rwakobo Rock Hotel, Mihingo Lodge) and meals are offered ( lunch, dinner)

Day 2: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park Western Region of Uganda

Get up early for a hearty breakfast before heading out on the route. Our guide will take you to the headquarters of Lake Mburo Rwonyo, where you will have an excellent possibility of seeing hyenas returning to their burrows and hippos heading back to the water sources. Experience an unforgettable hunt for buffaloes, impala, Uganda kobs, leopards, Eland, magnificent zebras, and giraffes. You will also spot other creatures that you may have missed on the nighttime game drive. After that, check out of the lodge.

Then, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a 1-2 hour boat trip on the Kazinga channel, where you will view one of the highest concentrations of hippos, as well as several crocodiles and buffaloes. This canal is home to a wide range of animals and bird species. After the boat journey, prepare to spend an hour with the locals in salt mining in Lake Katwe. Day 3: Kasenyi trail Game Drive, Retire back from a 3 day Uganda tour back to Kampala/Hotel/Airport

Early in the morning, eat breakfast, and then go to Kasenyi route, where you may see elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, antelopes, and, if you’re lucky, leopards. Following your interaction with animals at Queen Elizabeth Park, your driver/guide will transport you back to Kampala city, either to your hotel, the airport, or your preferred location inside the Capital City of Kampala.
