Brief information about the tour
These 3 days Uganda gorillas flying safari is tailored for luxury travelers with limited time but wish to experience gorilla trekking in Uganda. It saves you time driving from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will spend one and a half hours flying and another one and a half hours driving from the airfield (Kihihi) to Buhoma instead of the traditional 8-hour drive.
Three-day fly-in safaris to gorillas may take you to the Buhoma side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Kisoro (Rushaga and Nkuringo in the southern portion of Bwindi through scheduled aircraft landing at either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrips).
Day By Day Tour Summary
DAY 1: Arrival and Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
A professional tour guide from monumental expeditions will pick you up and take you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will land at either Kihihi (for the north and eastern portions of the park) or Kisoro Airstrip (for the southern part of the park).
Upon arrival, our guide and vehicle will drive you to your appropriate overnight Lodge. You have the option of flying in the morning or afternoon. Morning flights depart Entebbe at 7:45 a.m. for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, while afternoon flights depart at 12:30 p.m. There is just one morning flight from Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip every day at 7:45 a.m. for the southern half of Bwindi NP. DAY 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast and packing your lunch, you will go to the Park headquarters for registration and a tutorial about the dos and don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking at 7:45 a.m. You will hike through dense creepers and foliage with your guides to discover the gorillas, which might take anything from 30 minutes to three-quarters of the day. The heavily wooded area is quite thick, although it is crisscrossed by numerous animal pathways that enable people access. It’s an incredible experience to be among these gorgeous yet imperiled Species.
DAY 3: Fly back to Entebbe
Our guide will take you to Kihihi/Kisoro for your internal flight back to Entebbe International Airport after breakfast. If you have a connecting flight, you may fly out of Uganda, or you can stay in Uganda for a few days to see other parts of the nation.
