Brief information about the tour
This safari package starts with a great wildlife presentation in the southwestern region of Kenya in the Masai land and then proceeds to the homestead of water-loving animals (lake Nakuru), giving you the best touch of wildlife and bird life. While at Masai Mara you will be chilling with the big five mammals and then moving on to the famous flamingo nest.
Day-by-Day Tour Summary
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara game reserve
After meeting up with a professional tour guide from monumental expeditions, you will surely start your 4-day Masai Mara and lake Nakuru safari by heading southwest to Masai Mara game reserve with a stopover at the perfect view of the magnificent rift valley and then proceed to Narok, where you will have your lunch before heading to Masai mara game reserve.
On arrival, you will check in the lodge as you get ready for your evening game drive, giving you a chance to see the lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many more. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: full-day game drive at Masai Mara game reserve
After your morning breakfast, you will start with the first half of your full-day game drive, heading to the wild very early to catch up with fascinating scenes as the predators take down their prey. After the morning game drive, you will head back for lunch as you prepare for the evening game drive.
During your game drives, expect to see some wildlife, including the members of the big Five, plus plenty of antelopes and birds roaming within the area.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: morning game drive and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Leaving the lodge very early in the morning to hit the wild for the perfect spots of game viewing and then head back to the lodge for breakfast and check out as you head to Lake Nakuru national park.
The park is located within the Great Rift Valley and on arrival, you will enjoy your lunch after checking in.
During the evening, you will go for the game drive, where you will have a chance to see some of the 400 bird species that reside within the park and then, afterward, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: game viewing and departure back to Nairobi
Leave the lodge very early in the morning for a game drive and have a lucky look at the several birds within the park, the unique black and white rhinos, and plenty of wildlife species in the park. After the drive, you will head back to the lodge for breakfast and check out as you head back to Nairobi, having your lunch en route.
