After meeting and greeting, travel to the west area of Uganda, stopping at the Equator for wonderful photographs and refreshments before continuing on to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest park with abundant animals dispersed throughout the savannah. After lunch, prepare for a wildlife drive in the evening to view animals such as topi, impala, bushbucks, and leopards as they muscle stretch for food and have the possibility to witness a number of zebras because Lake Mburo is home to zebras.

5 Days Lake MburoDay 2: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo

Early in the morning, you enter the park for a game drive in search of animals, with the possibility of seeing more games than the previous evening. Giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, topis, elands, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, olive baboons, and a large variety of birds may be seen. Exit the game drive later and proceed to brunch, relaxation, and lunch. After lunch, you will go on a boat excursion on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and birds such as African fish eagles. After the boat tour, return to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

5 Days Lake MburoDay 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your driving guide will take you up in the morning and transport you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will leave Lake Mburo and travel south via the Rwenzori Mountain series to the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping for lunch along the way. When you arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will go on a nighttime game drive through the explosion crater-lake fields, hoping to see elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, and baboon armies, among other things.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

Prepare for a 6:30 a.m. early game drive. The park’s diversified environment of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, marshes, lakes, and volcanic craters supports an abundance of animals. Keep an eye out for lions, buffaloes, elephants, and other animals in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast, unwind, and then eat lunch.

5 Days Lake Mburo

In the evening, we start on a two-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where we will get up close and personal with hippos, buffaloes, lions, and other animals. The boat provides superb bird-viewing chances as well as an additional opportunity to see animals. This trip will provide you with an unforgettable experience on the ocean. When you return to the shoreline, you will travel back to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe Via Ishasha

5 Days Lake MburoThis morning, you will check out of the lodge and go on a wildlife drive in the Ishasha region, hoping to view the unusual tree-climbing lions. During mid-morning, the climbing lions of Ishasha may be seen lazing in the fig trees, resting from the previous night’s tough hunt! However, it is not certain that the lions will be spotted; it is often dependent on chance and the time of arrival in the region. You will eat lunch in the Ishasha sector before returning to Entebbe for your outbound departure.
