It is famed for its tree-climbing lions, who are supposed to climb fig trees after their meals to relax, enjoy the breezes, and readily see their prey due to the thick savanna grass. There are several hypotheses as to why they ascend the trees; you will hear more about this from your tour guide during your game drive. Along with the lions, there are elephants, buffaloes, kobs, topis, waterbucks, and various bird species.
