Day One: Arrival

When you get to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met and taken to your hotel. You will spend the night in Moshi or Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is about a three to four-hour drive away. A very big number of elephants live in Tarangire National Park. The beautiful baobab trees in the park are an interesting feature.

Animals gather along the Tarangire River, which is the only stable source of water in the area. There is a lot of different wildlife, like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. In the afternoon, go on a game drive. Stay the night in Tarangire.

Day 3 and Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

The third day of this 8-day standard safari to Tanzania starts early with breakfast. Then you’ll drive for four hours to reach the Serengeti, which is one of the most famous game parks in Africa. The Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration. It is also home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other small animals.

Your guide will choose the best places to see wildlife for the time of year. You can spend time at the hippo pool and watch these huge animals relax in the cool water with the crocodiles, or you can be amazed by how big the great wildebeest migration is.

Days 5 & 6 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater

Getting up early to look for big cats in the Serengeti before they leave for the day because it’s too hot. You will spend the night in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after seeing animals for a few hours. The Ngorongoro caldera is the biggest crater in the world that has never been flooded or broken. The Ngorongoro Crater is a beautiful natural feature that is about 20 kilometers across and 600 meters deep.

Almost all of the animals that live in the Ngorongoro Crater live inside the crater walls, which makes it easy to find game. To get the most out of your day visiting the crater, you should get up early. This is the best time to see rhinos, as well as the pride of lions and other dangerous animals like the cheetah. Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

You will drive to Lake Manyara for about an hour this morning. You will spend about two to three hours driving back to Moshi or Arusha after lunch. Moshi or Arusha for the night.

Day 8 – Departure
