Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be happily welcomed by a professional tour guide from monumental expeditions. He will be your guide for your 9-day stay in the Pearl of Africa. After a pre-tour briefing, you will be taken to your luxurious hotel for your meals and overnight stay as you get ready for the second day of your nine-day luxury gorilla and wildlife Uganda safari.

Day 2: Transfer from Kampala to lake Mburo national park

Following your early morning breakfast, you will drive southwest of the pearl, having a stopover at the equator for photography, and then proceed with your ride to Lake Mburo National Park checking in at your luxurious lodge, where you will enjoy lunch, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Nature walks and boat safari

After your morning breakfast, you will embark on exploring the wildlife on foot within the perimeter of Lake Mburo National Park where you will see plenty of Burchell’s zebras, elands, waterbucks, topis, buffalos, and giraffes.

Get back to your lodge for lunch and thereafter, on, on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo you can can expect to see hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of water-drawling birds. After the boat safari,, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and evening game drive

Morning breakfast, check out, and leave the park with an en route game drive heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park.. On arrival,, check in at your lodge and head for an evening game drive where you spot several wildlife,, including buffalos, lions, leopards, antelopes and many more. dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and boat safari on the Kazinga channel

Upon completing your morning breakfast, you will drive to the Kyambura Gorge for the chimpanzee trekking,, spending a full hour with these calm primates in the wild,, taking videos and pictures of your life.

After a successful chimpanzee adventure, you will head back to your lodge and then head back to your lodge for refreshments and lunch. After lunch, your guide will drive you to the Kazinga Channel for a boat safari,, where you can can expect to see several schools of hippos, crocodiles, and birds,, plus the many other wildlife species species that come to enjoy the waters,, like elephants, buffalos, and many more.

Dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Drive to the Ishasha sector

Next to your morning breakfast will be the drive to the southern section of the park,, popularly known as the ishasha sector,, for the climbing lions that you are lucky to find hanging on the branches of the fig trees with your well-packed lunch. Take some time to enjoy your packed lunch in the wild,, as you can also spot several antelope species, warthogs, buffalos, elephants, and plenty of wildlife species,, including a blend of bird species in the ishasha sector.

After your game drive, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive in Ishasha and drive to Bwindi forest

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, check out the lodge, and have an en-route game drive as you head to the misty jungle that hosts almost half the world’s mountain gorillas. With more wildlife in the southern sector,, you will then hit the road to Bwindi impenetrable forest have your lunch en route and then arrive at your lodge,, where you will check-in, refresh, and have your dinner as you get ready for the mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla adventure

After your morning breakfast, your driver guide will take you to the park headquarters,, where you will meet up with several other trekkers.. After that pre-trekking briefing, you will head into the impenetrable forest with several rangers and trackers looking for the gorillas.

Upon meeting up with the mountain gorillas, you are to spend a full hour with these ape species,, taking pictures and videos of your favourites. After that successful gorilla adventure, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

The driver will again drive you into the jungle for the Batwa experience where you stand a chance to spend quite a good time with these indigenous residents of the forest,, learning how they live and hunt as you are entertained by their cultural songs and dances.

Head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer from Bwindi to Kampala.

Following your morning breakfast will be checking out of the lodge as you hit the road back to Kampala. You are to have a stopover for lunch and then embark on your departure drive that will end at either your hotel or airport for your departure flight back home.
