Mount Elgon National Park is a haven for birdwatchers, offering a rich and diverse avian population. Jackson’s Francolin

This elusive bird is endemic to the region and can be found in the higher altitudes of Mount Elgon. Its distinctive call and unique plumage make it a sought-after sighting for birdwatchers.

 

Lammergeier (Bearded Vulture)
