You will need at least three days for a gorilla trip that starts in Masaka and takes you to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks. On day one, you’ll head south of Uganda, known as the Pearl of Africa, to visit Bwindi Impenetrable and Magahinga Gorilla National Parks.

Day 2 begins with an early breakfast at the lodge. After packing your own lunch and water, go to the park headquarters to register and get a rundown on what to do and not do on your journey to see the mountain gorillas. With the help of your assigned ranger guide and eight other trackers, you will go out on foot into the forest to investigate the native habitat of the endangered species.
