Brief information about the tour

A 5-day BWINDI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH TOUR will take you to Uganda’s endowed national parks (BINP & QENP). It takes us to Bwindi Forest Impenetrable Forest, home to renowned mountain gorillas and the greatest biodiversity of wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, and hippos, in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we can also take the exciting launch cruise on the Kazinga channel.

Day-by-Day Tour Summary

  • Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and Community walks
  • Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector
  • Day 4: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
  • Day 5: Depart

Day 1: Transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. 

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by the guide stop at the Equator, experience a tropical balance (stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time), take some photos, have some refreshments, and then you can have a look at the traditionally made drums and crafts being made at this place, then proceed through the beautiful verdant rolling hills of this part of the country, stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then continue to the park where you will have an overnight.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking.

After breakfast, you will be picked from your lodge to the headquarters for instructions/briefing, ready to have your packed lunch, and drinking water since the activity is for longer hours(2-8 hrs) in search for the mountain gorillas, still carry with yourself a rain jacket, jungle boots and the walking stick will be given to you at the briefing and set off for the gentle giants in Bwindi forest. Only allowed to be with these giants for 1 hour, retire back to your lodge, freshen up, relax, and get ready for the evening community walk, interact with the natives about their culture, and be more exposed.

 Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Having gotten done with early breakfast, depart from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha section of which you will have the opportunity to see and watch the rare tree-climbing lions and then head on to the North section of the park, rest freshen up, Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drives and Afternoon Boat cruise.

At the same duration you will have your breakfast, and leave for a morning Game drive along the Kasenyi trailing grounds in search of mammals like Elephants, Warthogs, Lions, and Mangoose, to mention but a few, this gives a wide game view of different animals in the park, retire back to your lodge, refresh, lunch, relax. In the afternoon have a Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel(2 hrs) and this enables you to have a close sight of animals and watch the birds as well. Freshen up, Dinner, Overnight.

Day 5: Depart back to Kampala

Early morning Breakfast, then embark on your journey back to Kampala, stop for lunch in Mbarara, and again pause at the Equator and take more photos if time allows and proceed back to your hotel.
