2 Days Nyungwe Forest Safari

Overview

Towards this 2 Days Nyungwe Forest Safari, one of the oldest African montane forests located southwest of Rwanda, bordering Burundi in the south and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the west is your destination.Ā Ā  Due to its hilly terrain and a water stream that stretches all the way into the Lake Victoria basin, it is thought that the forest is the genuine source of the Nile.

Nyungwe forest national parkĀ is one of Rwanda’s three national parks, covering around 970 square kilometers; the forest’s environment is additionally sustained by the stunning Lake Kivu. The forest is home to about 400 chimps, as well as 12 other primate species such as colobus monkeys, vervets, olive baboons, forest buffalos, and antelopes. This journey also includes a cultural tour of the Butare Museum and the King’s Palace, as well as magnificent views of the picturesque Lake Kivu.

Participate in the canopy walk, which is the most thrilling experience in East Africa, where visitors may get a fantastic view of the forest and spot animals. The canopy is 45 feet high, giving you a clear round view of the forest, but it can be unpleasant for people who are aerophobic.
