Brief information about the tour
This 3-day Murchison Falls National Park safari package comes with a blend of the big five land mammals spiced up a taste of primates. The safari surely gives you the best of Uganda’s wildlife as it takes you to the biggest and oldest national park in the pearl of Africa. The park is the perfect place for an African safari as it has magnificent and powerful falls and savannah grassland, and at the same time, it has an evergreen forest that is home to several bird species and primates as well.
Day By Day Tour Summary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and ziwa rhino tracking
On the alpha day of your safari will be picked up by a professional tour guide at either the hotel or at the airport and after a pre-tour briefing you will drive straight away to Murchison Falls National Park situated in the northern region of the country.
Having an en-route lunch you will then proceed to ziwa rhino sanctuary for the rhino tracking.
After the rhinos, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
On the second day, you have an early breakfast and then hit the wild in the comfort of your 4×4 safari vehicle in order to catch up with the hunters who will soon go into hiding after the sun rises. On this early morning game drive, keep your eyes sharp and widely open to avoid missing out on the plenty of animals that reside in this park including the buffalos, zebras, leopards, lions, elephants, and many more.
After the game drive you will head back to the lodge for refresh and then after lunch you will go in for the boat cruise where you will have a chance to see several birds including the shoebill stock, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos, and many more wildlife that come to enjoy the freshness of the water.
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and departure
On the last day of your safari you are to enjoy an early morning breakfast and then thereafter commence for the chimpanzee trekking adventure. After the chimpanzee, you will head back to the lodge for refreshment, check out, and then proceed back to the airport or hotel with an en route lunch style marking the end of your 3 day Murchison Falls National Park, rhinos and chimpanzee trekking safari.
