Day By Day Tour Summary
1 Day Gorilla Trek Uganda
1 Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda – After an early breakfast, your driver guide will take you up from your accommodation in Kabale or Kisoro at 6:00 a.m. Move to the mighty Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, in which you’ll arrive at the park headquarters at the time of theĀ briefing, after which you will be grouped in a group of 8, though according to the season, only 2 or 3 or 4 trackers may trek; be advised to bring sufficient water for drinking as well as sufficient snacks or packed lunch since the trek is so arduous and can take from one to eight hours depending on how these endangered giants move within the park.
You will be accompanied by park rangers to the rain forest to begin your quest for mountain gorillas. Trekking might be difficult at times; thus, a walking stick is recommended. It also requires someone who is physically healthy and powerful. The trekkers should also have raincoats and boots because the weather is unpredictable and constantly changing. You will also need to pay $10 to have porters assist you with your stuff.
Your rangers will guide and instruct you how to manage and act with the gorillas as soon as you come face-to-face with them, mostly by standing 6 metres away from them while you enjoy observing them. It’s impossible to predict how long the journey will take because it is mostly determined by the movement and placement of the gentle giants. Following the walk, proceed to the park headquarters and back to the road leading to Kabale or Kisoro.
