Short tailed warblers, Blue headed sunbirds, and the park also contains 7 birds on the IUCN list; Bwindi is a rich environment for forest birding in Uganda; the national park houses 350 bird species documented including 23 Albertine rift endemics (90% of all the Albertine rift endemics). There are forty limited range species of birds on the mountain.
