East African Tourist Visa

East African Tourist Visa, After Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda came to an understanding, the East African Tourist Visa was released in June 2016. It lets you enter the country more than once and is good for 90 days. Tourists from other countries who have this visa can go to any of these countries with it, no matter which country gave it to them. For each country, you can get it at their own offices or online. Each person needs to pay $100 for the visa.

You can get this East African Tourist Visa from the customs offices in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. It is open to people from all countries. With the East African Tourist Visa, you can visit all three countries up to three times in 90 days. Travelers who want to get an East African Tourist Visa must have a legal passport, two photos the size of a passport, a fully filled-out application form, and the visa fee. Depending on the country of origin, visitors may also need to show other papers, like proof that they have enough money, an invitation letter, or a return ticket.

You can only get an East African Tourist Visa in person at the airport in Kigali, Rwanda, or at any border crossing in Rwanda. You can also get it by mail, online, or in person. Processing times are different, but most of the time they are between three and five business days. Please keep in mind that you can’t get an East African Visa on Arrival in Uganda or Kenya. Tanzania is not yet a part of the East African tourist visa deal because it is afraid of Kenya.
