From Entebbe International Airport, which is 1.5 hours’ drive to the Buhoma section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Aero Link conducts two flights to Kihihi, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

You can also take a morning flight to Kisoro; the flight leaves at the crack of dawn every day due to the weather there, but it opens up access to places like Mgahinga National Park, the Ruhija Sector, the Nkuringo Sector, and the Rushaga Sector; the amount of time it takes to get there depends on the sector you choose to go gorilla trekking in.

Timetables for flights

Both the morning and afternoon flights leave from Entebbe International Airport at 0700 and 0800, respectively, with the latter departing at 1015 and arriving at 1205 in the afternoon.

There are two flights each day from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: one leaves at 0945 and arrives in Entebbe at 1125, and another leaves Kihihi at 1140 and arrives at 1330. The sole morning flight that goes to the southern Bwindi/Mgahainga region leaves Entebbe at 7:00 am and lands in Kisoro at 08:10 am. Then, at 08:25 am, the plane takes off from Kisoro and lands in Entebbe at 11:25 am.
