Gorilla Habituation Experience 3 days.
Our Three Day Gorilla Habituation Program One of the greatest safaris we have at Monumental Expeditions and Safaris is Safari, which is generally booked for people who would like to spend more time with our next cousin mountain Gorillas as the experience provides you an additional opportunity of acquiring more knowledge from the researchers and rangers.
Notable things to remember
One would never miss in a lifetime the type of unforgettable experience one would have seeing Mountain Gorillas in their native habitat in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park; their deep brown eyes, beauty, and shockingly human-like emotions and actions. One of the most incredible events of a lifetime is four hours of walking with these lovely monkeys.
Spending more time with the endangered Mountain Gorillas is made possible by our Uganda Gorilla Habituation trip. We may also be custom created to fit your budget and arrange this trip in luxury, mid, and low levels. Monumental Expeditions and Safaris staff will constantly ensure that everything—including Gorilla permits, transportation, lodging, and food—is done well.

Day 2: Trekking for gorilla habituation
After breakfast early in the morning, you travel to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla habituation trekking briefing on the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda four hour Gorilla Trekking trip. Once this is finished, you will search the Gorillas—which may take you half an hour to three quarters of the day—by walking through dense creepers and foliage with your ranger guides.
Though quite thick, the steeply wooded terrain is crisscrossed with many animal paths providing visitor access. Your walk will probably bring you sightings of other monkeys, birds, and unusual tree species. After your hiking, you travel back to the Park headquarter for a debriefing; the four hours begin to count when you discover new paths of the mountain Gorillas.
Being with these lovely yet threatened creatures is very amazing. For taking part in gorilla habituation hiking and therefore helping to preserve mountain gorillas, you will get a certificate.
