Jinja Wild Waters Lodge

This is a lovely environment and one of Uganda’s top honeymoon spots. It is a highly stylish and beautiful lodge located in Jinja District on a private island in the Nile River. It’s a lovely area with traditional thatched houses and handcrafted furnishings where you can rest and relax while listening to the rushing waters of the Nile.

The resort also features tented cabins with everything you need, delicious meals, friendly personnel, and a restaurant that serves liquors, foreign foods, local dishes, and any other beverages.

Nothing will captivate you more than nature hikes around the island and romantic meals on an island in one of the world’s longest rivers while staying at this resort. This lodge will make your stay unforgettable.

 

Mweya Safari Lodge

This is a one-of-a-kind lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, near the Kazinga Channel on the Mweya Peninsula. It is a large lodge with cottages, rooms, luxury tents, and suites, and you may choose where to spend the night.

Mweya is also bordered by the Rwenzori Mountains, and there is no question that even while you relax in your cottage or tent, you will have the opportunity to see wonderful wildlife and birds, giving you a true sense of being in the wild.

Because the lodge is located in a National Park, you may incorporate various activities into your romantic stay, such as a boat tour along the Kazinga River, wildlife drives (morning and evening), witnessing tree climbing lions, bird watching, nature walks, chimp trekking, and many more. The Park is home to around 600 bird species and over 90 animal species.

 

The Kyaninga Lodge

This is one of Uganda’s most opulent resorts, located approximately 12 kilometers from Fort Portal town on a hill overlooking Crater Lake, including a swimming pool and a tennis court. The lodge comprises nine cottages made of thatch and wood. They are self-contained, and each cabin has a separate deck where you may spend quiet time with one other.

Kyaninga Lodge is surrounded by amazing vistas and has access to trekking routes if you wish to go further and feast your eyes with stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the Great Rift Valley.

The lodge’s facilities are exclusive, including the restaurant, swimming pool, and SPA, among others.

Staying at this lodge also allows you to participate in other local activities such as chimp tracking, bird viewing, and nature hikes at Kibale Forest National Park, which is a 1-hour drive from the resort. Honeymooners can easily connect to other honeymoon sites in Queen Elizabeth National Park from this resort.

 

The Chobe Safari Lodge

Chobe Lodge is a five-star lodge located in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park. Most honeymooners choose this resort as their destination. The stunning panoramic views, along with the sound of the Nile’s racing waters and the birds that fill the sky, create a really wonderful ambiance at the lodge.

Chobe Safari Resort features 21 luxury tents, 36 outstanding bedrooms, four suites, and a presidential villa. All of the deluxe tents and suites have patios and balconies with breathtaking views. You may see some of the vegetation, birds, and animals while staying at the resort. Likewise, for honeymooners interested in sport fishing, this is an exceptional location.

Mihingo Safari Lodge

This is one of the most popular safari resorts in Uganda for honeymooners. It is a beautiful lodge located near Lake Mburo National Park, about a 10-minute drive from the airstrip. It is bordered by a variety of fauna and savannah grasslands.

This resort is well-known for its rustic environment and breathtaking sunsets. It is well-designed, exclusive, and quiet in that it is eco-friendly and provides tourists with leisure and comfort. All of the rooms and tents feature en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water.

Other amenities, including the eating area and the swimming pool, are also conveniently located, and guests may enjoy the greatest views of the gorgeous sunsets while they are there.

There’s also a fully equipped bar and restaurant, as well as a craft shop where you may start purchasing each other gifts. This lodge also provides equestrian safaris, which are a thrilling opportunity to get a closer look at animals and the surrounding terrain.

Silverback lodge

This is one of the top honeymoon hotels in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to half of the world’s surviving Mountain Gorillas. The resort is located in Buhoma Sector, close to the headquarters, and is only a 5-minute walk from the park.

The lodge has been recently renovated with natural and basic architectural ideas; all of the rooms have private verandas and en suite bathrooms and front spectacular views of the surrounding forests and valleys. The restaurant and bar, for example, are fully equipped.

There is also a range of activities available to spice up your romantic journey while here, such as gorilla tracking, bird viewing, and village excursions, among others. Your time at the lodge will be unforgettable.

 

Kyambura Gorge Lodge

This is a private lodge in Queen Elizabeth Park‘s Savannah, next to the verdant Kyambura Gorge. Kyambura Lodge is more than simply a room or a cottage; it is an unforgettable experience.

The lodge was once an outdated coffee shop that needs to be transformed into an elegant opulent lodge with a few extra distinctive bandas. Private balconies, mosquito netting, and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water are provided in each room.

The main lodge has a swimming pool where you may relax while taking in the breathtaking views. The resort also offers Wi-Fi and massage services.

Apart from your romantic stay, you may go on hikes and monkey tracking in Kyambura Gorge, or take a boat tour along the Kazinga canal and go on wildlife drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

 

Gorilla Forest Camp Lodge Sanctuary

It is one of the few honeymoon retreats in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This forest is home to a large number of Mountain Gorillas, and as the lodge overlooks the diversified forest, some unwelcome visitors “The Gorillas” are frequently sighted.

The experience at this lodge cannot be replicated in any other location on the planet. The lodge provides excellent service, delicious meals, and big cottages that will enhance your romantic experience.

 

Pineapple Bay resort

Consider it the perfect place to finish your honeymoon in Uganda. Pineapple Bay is located in Lake Victoria on the tropical island of Bulago. This is a nice area to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A honeymoon bungalow is located directly next to the beach beside the Lake. There is also a swimming pool.

You may take nature hikes along the island while enjoying the sunset or dawn. Nothing will be more exhilarating than the two of you boating on the lake with palm palms in the backdrop and breathtaking sights. The food served is also great.

 

Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge

Clouds Lodge is located high on Nteko Ridge, overlooking the cloud-covered Virunga mountains and the verdant forest. This resort is located at the highest point in Uganda. It is located in the Nkuringo sector, in the southern portion of Bwindi Forest, and is surrounded by nothing but stunning vistas.

There are ten stone cottages that are pleasant and elegant, each with warm duvets, soft sofas, and fires, and amazing meals are served right at the main lodge. Additional amenities include a quiet library, a lovely botanical garden to spice up your romance, and shaded verandas to lounge on.

Forest tours, community and village visits, gorilla tracking, and mountain biking along the beautiful ridge are among the activities available.
