Arrival by Air:

The nearest international airport to Rwenzori Mountains National Park is Entebbe International Airport, located near the capital city, Kampala. From there, you can take a domestic flight to Kasese Airstrip, which is the closest airport to the park.

 

Arrival by Road

If you prefer to travel by road, you can hire a private vehicle or use public transportation to reach the park. From Kampala, you can take a bus or hire a taxi to Kasese town, which is approximately 375 kilometers (233 miles) away. The journey takes around 6-7 hours, depending on the road conditions.

 

Kasese Town

Once you arrive in Kasese, it serves as the gateway to the park. You can find accommodations, supplies, and arrange for park permits and guided tours from here.
