Accreditation for Media and Press

Please complete out our Media Council form G and submit it back to us via email together with two passport-sized pictures and a copy of your passport as soon as we get in touch with you.

Work Permit for Video Crew Members
While film crew members may get their visas at the airport, we can assist you get a tourist visa to Uganda so you don’t have to wait in line. You have the option to acquire your visa upon arrival for USD100 per person, or we can simply provide you with a letter that you may produce to the embassy.
Contract for Ugandan Wildlife
In order to film in any of Uganda’s national parks, production companies must first get the necessary licenses and sign a contract with the Uganda Wildlife Authority. If you would like to shoot in one of our ten national parks, Monumental Expeditions and Safaris can help you get the necessary permits from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. You might expect to pay a premium to shoot mountain gorillas as opposed to chimpanzees or other animals.
You won’t have any problems finding a suitable site since our location scouts are familiar with the fees charged by the Uganda Wildlife Authority to film crews. Please provide us with a letter that includes your firm logo and provides data about yourself, the national parks you would want to film in, the duration of the production, and how the project would contribute to Uganda’s tourism industry.
A letter of authorization from you is required so that we may collect your copy from the Uganda Wildlife Authority once the process is complete; this letter should also include the names and titles of all crew members.
