About 96 gorilla permits are available at Uganda Wildlife Authority daily for gorilla trekking holidays. 88 Gorilla permits are for trekkers in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park while 8 are for trekkers in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Discounted Gorilla Permits in April, May and November
Uganda Wildlife Authority presents reduced gorilla permits in wet seasons of April, May and November each year so contact us for more details. These gorilla permits are booked with full payment and are non-refundable. Gorilla Permit Allocation in Uganda
Gorilla permit distribution takes place on the actual day of gorilla trekking. When booking gorilla permits, you book conferring to sections and then on the day of trekking activity, each customer is distributed a gorilla family basing on interest, physical fitness so that each gets what they are searching for in a gorilla trek. Therefore, you should request for a gorilla family that fits your benefits. If you want a gorilla family that is nearer, has babies, is difficult to trek, then feel free to ask for it. Age Limit for gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking holidays has an age limit and whoever is involved in booking a gorilla trekking holiday should at least be 15 years and above. UWA is very stringent on this and should they find out that you are below the age of 15, you will lose the money you purchased the permit and should they feel like proving this, they may require for your birth certificate.
