Uganda Visa Information – Monumental Expeditions and Safaris

Before traveling to Uganda for any reason—whether for tourism, study, business, family visits, holidays, or diplomatic engagements—foreign nationals must ensure they have a valid Uganda Visa. A visa is an official document that authorizes travelers from other countries to enter Uganda lawfully for specific purposes.

Uganda, located in East Africa, is a popular travel destination known for its national parks and unique natural beauty, which attract visitors from around the world.

Important Notice: Visa on Arrival No Longer Available

Travelers planning to visit Uganda should apply for their visa at least one month before their intended travel date. The Government of Uganda has discontinued the issuance of visas on arrival. Instead, an online visa application system is now in place.

To avoid disruptions or denial of entry, all travelers must apply and receive visa approval online before their departure.
